Is it better to spread the risk when sports gambling?
I got kind of addicted to Centsports, and I'm trying to figure out the most advantageous system mathematically. Usually bet on baseball as it is the sport that they know more about. Do not bet on point spreads, money lines only straight. My question is whether it is better to bet on multiple computers that you think is likely to win, and we spread the risk out. The alternative is to choose a game that I think is a sure thing, and put your entire bankroll on one bet. Suppose you have $ 5.00 to play. Would you bet 1.00 in 5 different games, or 5.00 on a game? If you choose 5 games that are more likely to lose at least one, and therefore its profitability is lower. So your risk. The big bet is worth more (probably) but if you lose you're busted. Can anyone give me a serious reason for a system over another? And please do not speak ill Centsports only in his reply. I am not asking to subscribe, just want to hear your opinion on the various systems.
The aim if your poker game, stocks, sports betting or any another thing to try to get the best return on the risk to their funds. Diversification is a way to reduce the overall risk of your bankroll. Propagation of $ 5 on all long shots in general remains very risky and would not extend to favorites $ 4 and $ 1 at a high risk for Long Shot if you really think theres a chance. Venture capitalists work, basically, to make a large high-stakes gamble, but it works because they have huge amounts of money to spread over many bets.
